A Unique Hands on Approach
Hands-on manual physical therapy involves the physical therapist manually manipulating the patient's muscles, joints, and other soft tissue to improve range of motion, reduce pain, and promote healing. This can include techniques such as massage, joint mobilization, manipulation and stretching.
Research has shown that hands-on physical therapy is more effective than generic physical therapy programs, as it allows the therapist to directly address the specific areas of the body that are causing problems and to tailor the treatment to the individual needs of the patient. Hands-on therapy can also be more effective at reducing pain and improving mobility.
