Frequently Asked Questions
What should I bring to my first appointment?
Bring your insurance card, a photo ID, any relevant medical records (imaging, surgical notes), and comfortable clothing for movement. We’ll handle the paperwork and benefit verification for you.
Do I need a doctor’s referral to start?
No. In New Jersey, you can see a physical therapist directly. The only exception is Medicare, which requires a physician’s script for coverage.
How long will my first visit take?
Plan for 45–60 minutes. We’ll do a full evaluation, explain your diagnosis, and start treatment the same day. You’ll leave with a clear plan and home program.
How do I know if my insurance will cover treatment?
We verify your benefits before your first session and explain exactly what’s covered — no hidden bills or surprises. If you’re out-of-network, we’ll review affordable self-pay options.
