Physical Therapist (PT/DPT) — Full-Time, Outpatient Orthopedic — Wayne, NJ

Spectrum Therapeutics of NJ is an owner-operated outpatient orthopedic clinic in Wayne, led by Dr. Rob Letizia, PT, DPT. We’re hiring one full-time physical therapist. New grads and early-career clinicians are welcome and encouraged.

The job

One patient an hour. One-on-one. No double-booking. No productivity quotas — not reasonable ones, none. No weekends, and we’re done by 2pm on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.

• Full-time, outpatient orthopedic caseload
• Evaluate and treat across ortho, sports, post-surgical, and vestibular cases — with mentorship along the way
• Early-career clinicians (0–5 years) encouraged; we invest in developing you

Compensation & benefits

• $88,000–$100,000 / year base, depending on experience
• $500/month health allowance — we don’t carry a group plan, so we fund yours directly
• $3,000 sign-on bonus — half on day one, half at six months
• A contribution toward your student loans beginning in year two

You’ll have a full schedule from day one

This is the part most small practices can’t promise. Spectrum has 290+ five-star reviews and runs a real paid-ads and SEO operation that brings new patients in every week. You are not being hired to go find your own caseload. It’s already coming through the door.

What you’ll actually learn

Not “mentorship.” Specifically: you treat alongside Dr. Rob, who is 25 years into this career and has owned this practice for 11. We pay for your vestibular rehabilitation coursework and your shockwave therapy (ESWT) training, plus one conference a year. Two niches most PTs never get near — both in demand, both yours to keep.

• Owner-led mentorship. You learn directly from an experienced DPT who still treats and cares about developing you — not a rotating cast of corporate managers.
• Niche expertise you won’t get at a mill. Vestibular/BPPV rehab, shockwave therapy (ESWT), post-surgical rehab, and sports/return-to-play.
• Outcomes over volume. Manageable caseloads and a team that actually tracks results (11 years of outcomes data).

Where this leads: your own Spectrum clinic

We’re not looking for an associate to fill a schedule for the next decade. We’re looking for the person who eventually runs their own Spectrum Therapeutics location — funded by Dr. Rob, no buy-in from you, using the brand, the systems and the marketing engine that already work here.

Straight about how that works: at 18 months we sit down and formally evaluate it. Not “someday, if things go well” — an actual conversation on an actual date, with honest check-ins at 6 and 12 months on how it’s tracking. Whether we go forward is on you.
